Gulf County Emergency Management going to be offering Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) classes for members in the community who would like to gain more knowledge about disaster preparedness and/or become part of Gulf County’s CERT. The training will include basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, and disaster medical operations. Classes will begin in October. Anyone wishing to register may do so on the county website (http://www.gulfcounty-fl.gov/county_government/emergency_management) or by calling the emergency management office.
